Haddon Heights Christian

School

Transforming this generation through sound academic education with a distinctly Christian worldview!

Our Story

Haddon Heights Baptist Church has a rich history in Christian education. Baptist Regional School served the community for over 60 years and closed after many years of fruitful ministry in 2020. We began to pray and ask God to give us a new opportunity to serve children and families. He led us to Liberty University Online Academy's Affiliate Program, which enables us to offer a Christian education at a much lower cost than traditional private schools. Our online program through LUOA is offered to 6th-12th graders, and our pre-K-5th graders learn in a traditional classroom setting (not online). We opened our doors in 2022 and are excited to see what God has in store for us!

"Come my children and listen to me,

and I will teach you to fear the Lord." Psalm 34:11

Our Vision

To transform this generation through sound academic education with a distinctly Christian worldview. We are committed to transferring our passion for Christ to our students for their growth in Christ & God's glory.

Our Mission

To capture and equip the hearts, minds, and energies of young people for the sake of knowing Christ and unleash them to engage and make an impact in the world they live according to God's principles and power.

Our Education Philosophy

HHCS seeks to partner with families to provide biblically-based discipleship, scholastic & co-curricular excellence, freedom of expression, diversity of viewpoints guided by Christian principles, and critical thinking, all within a distinctly Christian environment.

Our Accreditation

HHCS is fully accredited as an affiliate school with Liberty University Online Academy. Both Ember (k-5 Teacher Directed) and LUOA (6th-12th Online/Independent Learning) curriculum is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Cognia, which are both dedicated to advancing excellence in education worldwide. Through the Cognia accreditation division, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), LUOA enjoys full accreditation. HHCS is also a member school of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Preschool

At Haddon Heights Christian Preschool, children will hear through stories and songs that Jesus loves them. Our preschoolers enjoy play-based learning as our teachers lovingly teach the principles of God's Word and live it daily as they interact with your child.

We desire to provide the best preschool learning experience for your child. Our structured routines create a sense of comfort for children to freely explore learning centers and activities within the classroom and out of doors. Children's social and emotional skills will develop as their self-confidence and independence grows.

Our preschool is for 3-4 year olds. To be accepted into our program, your child must turn three years old by June 1 of the current school year. Both 3 & 4-year-olds MUST be fully potty trained (no pull-ups) to attend HHCS Preschool. Space is limited, therefore we accept registrations on a first-come, first-served basis. Tuition is $4500 for five days and $3500 for three days. We do not offer a half-day program.

Elementary School

Our Elementary school offers blended classrooms with small class sizes ensuring each child gets individualized attention. Our elementary school uses an accredited Christian curriculum from Bob Jones University Press taught from a biblical perspective.

Testimonial:

"I am really enjoying my time here at Haddon Heights Christian School. I came here to get the chance to get away from bullying and all the negativity in today's world. I've gotten the chance to meet people who are also Christian, and I get the chance to form many lifelong friendships. I've never done online learning before, so I was a little nervous when starting, but Liberty University Online Academy is wonderful. I feel like I've learned more from this online program than any other form of in-person learning. At HHCS, you don't sit at the computer all day. You also get the chance to help out with the pre-K kids and learn many lessons through that such as responsibility and leadership skills. God has blessed me with the opportunity to be a part of Haddon Heights Christian School. It has changed my life and I am forever grateful."

Testimonial:

We cannot thank you enough. Our son is learning, playing, making friends, and experiencing what life is like outside of his home. He is having a great time and is all smiles. I don't have a single worry during the day when he's at school. This gives me such relief. Our son used to cry at drop-off every day at his old school. He feels at home at HHCS, no tears! He loves bringing random toys to surprise Ms. D every morning. You truly treat him like family, and for that, we are so thankful. 10/10 for HHCS.
